Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

These terms are written for business use of Threadship. If your organization has a separate written agreement with Threadship, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these terms.

1. Service Scope

Threadship provides a collaboration workspace for business users to organize shipment conversations, documents, tasks, and related operational context.

The service may include AI-assisted features that help extract information, summarize records, draft communications, and suggest next actions. Threadship is not a customs broker, freight forwarder, legal advisor, or compliance authority.

2. Accounts and Authorized Users

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting credentials, and ensuring that only authorized personnel access your workspace.

Organizations are responsible for user activity under their accounts and for configuring groups, collaborators, and access in a manner appropriate for their business relationships.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Threadship or interfere with the service.

  • Do not upload unlawful, malicious, or infringing content.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security controls, access another organization's data, or disrupt service availability.
  • Do not use Threadship to make automated decisions where human review is legally or operationally required.

4. Customer Data

You retain ownership of shipment data, documents, messages, and other content submitted to Threadship by you or your authorized users.

You grant Threadship permission to process that content as needed to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service, including generating AI-assisted outputs requested by users.

5. AI-Assisted Outputs

AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a specific shipment, customer, jurisdiction, or commercial obligation.

Users are responsible for reviewing outputs, validating extracted data, and making final operational, commercial, regulatory, and customer-facing decisions.

6. Availability and Changes

Threadship is provided on a best-effort basis unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Features, limits, integrations, and availability may change as the product evolves.

We may suspend access when necessary to protect the service, prevent misuse, comply with law, or address security or operational risks.

7. Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public business, technical, or operational information from the other. Each party agrees to use reasonable care to protect confidential information and to use it only for purposes related to the service.

8. Intellectual Property

Threadship and its software, design, workflows, branding, and underlying technology remain the property of Threadship or its licensors.

These terms do not transfer ownership of Threadship technology to you, and they do not transfer ownership of your customer data to Threadship.

9. Termination

You may stop using Threadship at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if continued operation is not commercially or legally practical.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Threadship is provided without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Threadship will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, shipment delays, compliance penalties, or business interruption arising from use of the service.

12. Updates and Contact

We may update these terms as Threadship evolves. Continued use of the service after updates become effective means you accept the revised terms.
